Anytime I see an Emma Lord book, I immediately request it. Without a doubt, her books are always light and easy. Her newest adult romance falls into the enemies to lovers rival musicians trope that has become so popular. There are some heavy handed pop culture references, but I find that to be expected. I thought this was a very cute story, and I enjoyed the secondary characters a lot, as well. Nothing mind blowing, but a solid romance.
