Obsessed with this amazing, unflinching exhilarating book with such a cool, gruesome magical setup. Invocations— spells literally seared into your skin that tether a demon to your soul in exchange for power.
This book was excellent, read it in a weekend.
It was a jumble of so many of my favorite books/shows: The Diviners meets Buffy meets Her Majesty’s Royal Coven meets Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.
Not for the faint of heart!
Definitely more New Adult than Young Adult even if the characters are supposed to be 17.
