The art style and coloring were pretty cool, but the overall story felt shallow and all over the place. It was difficult to follow the jumping timelines and the pages often felt crowded. The characters were also really flat.
I did not know anything about Mexicali music or punk rock culture going into this book, so a lot of the hidden references were lost on me. I imagine they would have appealed to folks more familiar with that scene.
