HOLY MOLY! This was a wild listen. (Also, this is one of the few times where I've been on trend with booktok reads and recommends.) High-stakes, claustrophobic thriller based on a true story (the 1976 Chowchilla kidnapping)! I could not believe it. I'm also a sucker for a multi-pov book. Throughout the story, we get to see the points of view from one of the kidnappers, the bus driver, one of the kidnapped children, and a mom of one of the kidnapped children. Definitely kept me engaged with the constantly moving plot. Intrigued to read other books by the author and curious to read other books by this author.
