Let me give you an advice: if you want to read this book start it early in the morning and take a day off because you will be busy all day. Reading.
I started this book at 1 a.m. and it was the worst and the best decision I've ever made. The book is unputdownable to the point I didn't sleep until 6 a.m. and woke up after 4 hours of sleep to finish it. It was so worth it.
This book is everything. It's inspiring, educational, packed with emotions and rollercoasters. I loved every minute of it, although I cried 70% throughout the reading.
What a brutally realistic world. I could connect with the characters so easily, I felt empathy even for the characters that maybe didn't deserve it. Witnessing this situation from Lily's point of view was so shocking for me. I never have judged people who lived in an abusive relationship but I was always asking myself: "Why don't they just quit?". This book gave me answers and proved me nothing is just black and white. I fell in love with all of the characters from the book, even Lucy who, I felt, was a little bit unnecessary. The plot was amazing too and the whole book is brilliant. It was definitely worth the wait.
