My rating is biased because of my love for Mila as a protagonist, but I genuinely do adore this series!!

Living for more sapphic representation in here and the very natural way it was included (some scifi I’ve read it feels very forced). I love how Mila just manages to make every adult near her worry about her and want to take care of her. Soothes me who also wants to make sure she’s okay.
The surprise reveal at the end of this volume had me mentally shrieking YESSSS because one of my favorite boys is back! Hell yes! So nice to see where familiar faces have ended up.
This entire series from Descender to now is just beautiful. Glad to be along for the ride!!
