This was a very sweet story full of adventure, beautiful illustrations and a cute storyline.  The animals and characters were very well developed and the atmosphere was narrated terrifically.  It was a bit long for a younger reading book and I did feel for myself it dragged a bit in parts.  I would however recommend this to all, if you like fantasy, wildlife and adventure, this is a great simple read.
