4.75 ⭐️ My favourite MM sport romance of all time!

When I tell you this book gave me all the butterflies… This is one of the best enemies-to-lovers books I’ve ever read, and that’s saying something. It’s one of my favourite tropes, but it’s difficult to find it this flawlessly.

Quinton and Oakley are both in the same team, but they’ve been rivals since high school. They hate each other, and everyone knows it. They’re fighting for the captain position and trying their best to make the most out of their last year in college, when one impulsive dare turns what could’ve just been a passing mistake/ hook-up into a pre-game ritual that could cost them their team’s spot at the Frozen Four. So, of course, Quinton and Oakley need to keep the superstition gods happy. Right?

This book was everything I wanted, and even all that I didn’t know I needed. It’s smutty, it’s angsty, it’s sweet and heart-warming and full of banter and… just all the wonderful things that make my favourite books. And this really is. I already know I’m going to be rereading this. My only complaint -and the reason why I didn’t give it the whole five stars- is because I wish the third act conflict could have been resolved sooner. Still, the amount of grovelling in this was absolute god-tier! I love a good grovelling, and this really was it!

This book is everything I love, all wrapped up into a gorgeous MM fantasy!
