This book is part of an ever-growing subcategory of stories I would call Angel Porn. (Angels always seem to be having lots of sex nowadays :) but they never seem to have condoms :( Angels should always have safe sex!!!)
For what it was it was an interesting read, I liked the historical context in the beginning, and I am hopeful that further installments are more interesting (aka have a greater plot to sex ratio) and explore the other characters mentioned in this story. This novella is Not plot-heavy but suggested some interesting possibilities that I hope are explored in future installments.
Personally I will say I struggled with the main subplot and how it was resolved because what the characters wished for themselves was what I would consider the worst possible outcome of events. But I also know I am in the minority in my opinion of that outcome. (But really Angels should always have safe sex!!!) :)
