I really liked this book. I found it slow to start and strictly read when I was at the pool. But by the middle I had to stop myself from reading when I wasn't at the pool. Lily and snow flower had such an interesting relationship.
The book was beautifully written. The characters, though set in another time were relatable, from their childhood all the way through adulthood
