This is everything I love about what romance is doing: incredible characters, intense connection, and celebrating a wide range of identities and experiences. Even the side characters who only appeared for a scene were thoughtfully inclusive rather than feeling like cheap tokens. Reading this is pure joy.
Also, the sexual tension is masterfully crafted. Jasmine and Ashton's interactions are so taut and intense from the get-go, and Alexis Daria did a fantastic job of building it and drawing it out.
My only complaints are small: the abundance of K-cups make the book feel instantly dated, and the epilogue wraps up the story a little too tidily.
