Could not put this book down - a novel glimpsing into the possibility of time travel and a slow burn romance? The world building of integrating 17/18/19th century characters and attempting to assimilate them to the 21st century was incredible and well executed via their vernacular. Gore was charismatic from the start, and you can’t help but relate to him throughout.
Like many other reviews I would say the first 2/3 of this book is stronger than the last 1/3, but I did appreciate the twists at the end. It felt like there was a build up to a larger political or societal message that just didn’t happen, but even with this flaw “The Ministry of Time” deserves the hype I have seen around it.
