I grew up reading Lemony Snicket, so I was excited by the “man behind the curtain” vibes of this book. But it just felt like one continuous ramble to me, and there wasn’t any rhyme or reason for what was happening. In other words, it was SO HARD to keep track of that I reread the first two chapters several times trying to understand where I’d stopped reading previously.
