Havoc at Prescott High by C.M. Stunich
2.0
dark tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

This book is infuriating. Near the start of the book, the Havoc boys say how they are direct with their communication and yet, throughout the book they have been anything but direct. The communication between them all is so poor. One of the main plot conflict themes could very much be resolved if literally any single one of them communicated.

Also, this is a RH and I'm not used to there being such possessiveness between the men in an RH. It was uncomfortable actually.
I don't particularly like any of the boys in this either. Maybe Aaron? Oscar is just boring. The only redeeming quality is that surely their communication improves? I'm also not really seeing any grovelling any necessary apologies. Also, feel like I'm being set up for "unexpected" pregnancy. Hate this trope so much.

I love the potential this story has and so I'm going to try the next one and hope it's better because this didn't quite hit the mark for me. And I'm disappointed about it.

Edit: DNF'd the series. I promise it doesn't get better.
