The Last Wilderness, A Journey into Silence by Neil Ansell

4.0

I really enjoyed this account of the author's year of trips to the Highlands. Although his way of being in the world makes for great stories there were a few times I wondered what he'd be like to live with! The book is peppered with reminisces of other journeys, and unlike some reviewers I like this. I think that's how memoir, and memory, works. All in all a lovely book.
