I did really enjoy this one.
I loved the premise about the road you planned not being the road you are destined for.
I loved the idea of your person not being the easy choice, but someone who pushes you.
I loved the couple’s journey to their HEA, and the fact that the conflict/issue was outside of the couple as the book started with their conflict.
What I didn’t love was that it felt like there was a lot of time explaining who people were from the first generation and conflicts. It almost took away from fully developing Ry and Bowe, who I loved from what I knew about them and how they interacted together.
This is always a concern of a second generation series, but I’m hoping the next book is better. The set up she left for them sounded great!
