Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy
3.0

This book is supposed to be about infidelity and the consequences of it.
But somehow, we spend so much reading on topics that are irrelevant to the story.
Farming, politics, and hunting trips!
All the characters are insufferable. There's not a single person to root for.
All they ever do is whine and make horrible choices.
So many of my brain cells wasted away reading all the pointless dialogs in this book.
No conflict was ever resloved, and that was just annoying.
I really thought I would enjoy this book and the heavy themes it was meant to explore.
But I was just bored and annoyed.
