This is a second chance romance between Billionaire Jonathan Lyons and Violet Dewitt,the daughter of a famous archaeologist. They met and had a brief but intense love affair a decade earlier but separated after a misunderstanding. Now 10 years later, Jonathan enlists Violets help to find a valuable artifact using her now deceased father's journal. Violet is harboring resentment and mistrust of Jonathan and is afraid to let him in again. Jonathan quickly discovers that he has never gotten over her and isn't afraid to show her he can be the man she wants and needs. Jonathan is sweet and has a great sense of humor and Violet is a strong, intelligent and independent woman. They work well together to find clues in this National Treasure kind of story and their chemistry is explosive and off the charts. This is a fun adventure that has a few twists and turns that keep you guessing and turning pages. This is a stand alone book and even though it is the 5th book in the series I didn't feel like I was missing any information to keep me from fully enjoying it. But I will definitely check out the rest of this series!
