This is one of the most amazingly well-written books I’ve read. I consider myself a well-versed reader with an extensive vocabulary and I found myself needing to look up a few words - in part because of pronunciation, but mostly because I had genuinely never seen the word before 😂
But wowwwww Citius (Key-tee-us) is amazing. Already, I can see the amazing character growth and the budding relationship between Morgan and her guys: Cal, Owen, Alijah, Joaquin, and Wyatt.
I’m in awe at the medical terminology used and the clinical world-building of a fictional world, that makes the world seem real. In fact, it all seemed so real that it kind of caught me off-guard when there was a knot involved haha. But that’s such an incredibly good thing in my opinion! It makes the experience of reading this book that much more immersive.
Can I just say I love love love the dichotomy of the powerhouse of strength that Morgan is and the incredible struggles she faces? I appreciate so much that she obviously deals with so much physically but her mental prowess more than makes up for it.
The pace of this book is so refreshing and I appreciate that the days are full while still maintaining such a “this is normal life” feel to it.
I’m soo excited to read the next book and see how much everyone grows!
