Married in Green by Seanan McGuire

4.0

Forever onward I truck, as I work through my seriously massive pile of short stories to read. So far, it feels like I've barely made a dent – and I'm still on one author! At least I'm enjoying what I've been reading, so I can hardly complain.

Married in Green is the next installment in Fran and Johnny's story. Those fans who have read the series already know very well where the story will end up, but it has still been a delight to read about.

The moment has finally come. Johnny and Fran are finally getting married, and there are a few (thankfully pleasant) surprises in store before the day is done.

This was a light and fun short story to read, though admittedly, it did have a few darker hints woven throughout. Still, I think it's the happiest/lightest novel of their story so far and has several really sweet moments throughout.
