It's a light read. The characterisation was well done and I certainly felt I could tell who the characters were even with such a short page count. I enjoyed the commentary of the narrative, particularly the way Italy is presented and the setting of scenery; I found that particularly charming.
I did, however, have a little trouble getting into this one. It felt a bit predictable in it's plot but it was endearing in it's descriptions, even if the protagonist was in near terminal denial until the last 10 or so pages.
