Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman

4.0

4.5 stars
Gaiman and Pratchett write with so, so much character it really is wonderful. I love, love, love the little asterisks and notes it’s such a good writing style/technique or whatever.

This actually leads me to my first complaint: I had to re-read half of Shadwells lines and the prophecies so many times to even understand what I was reading. Also, the pacing towards the very end of the book (last 20 pages really) was a bit weird. I feel like if I hadn’t watched the show adaptation before reading this book I would’ve been extremely lost on what the actual resolution of the book was.
