This is honestly more of a 3.75/5 stars, I think.
I think I would've given this a 3/5 stars on Goodreads if it wasn't for those last couple of pages. They made a difference.
But this is a sweet novel. Novella? Whatever it is, it was much more light-hearted and warm than I anticipated it being. I guess I've always kind of been intimidated by sci-fi because I assume it's all like Star Wars: intense, past-faced, very out-there. This book is anything but. It was calming, soothing, sweet.
No, I did really enjoy it. But I just don't think it's anything particularly special. Maybe that's also why I feel a little weird giving it a 4/5 star rating on Goodreads.
