I wish I could say I enjoyed this book because I really loved the wholesome TikTok story about it and the author. The plot was intriguing and is what held my interest to see it through, but the execution was flat for me. It seemed all over the place and never explained the connection between what happened to Prusik and the current murders but made her experience central to the plot. 

I didn’t understand nor care for the weird, forced relationship between Prusik and the Sheriff, it was so underdeveloped and really served no purpose.
