The Only Girl in Town by Ally Condie

5.0

I read this book very quickly because it was intriguing to me. By the end of it, I felt like it made sense and I didnt feel like I needed anything else from the book. It is heavy in the sense that it made me think of the times I have struggled with loneliness and depression, but by the end, I was left with a sense of hope.
I took a week to think about what I would write about this book, and I still don't feel like my words are enough.
The one thing I would say is, every person knows their triggers and every reaction is personal. If you think this book is going to impact you negatively, there's nothing wrong with that.
I really enjoyed this book.
