Wow. Just wow. This is easily one of my favourite books. I’m obsessed with the writing style, and that the only dialogue we get from Sophie is via her messages. It’s a book about living and graduating through the pandemic without actually being about the pandemic. Although I have to admit, it took me a while to get through it because I found it really emotionally tiring to read. I’ve never related to a character as much as I relate to Sophie, the words are weighing heavy on me as I see my own thoughts and feelings on the pages in front of me. The plot is fantastic, the events are heartbreaking and I literally cried in the airport at this book. I physically can’t put into words how much I loved this book and everything it represents.
