That ending cliffhanger really got to me! I remembering having to wait for book 3 to come out the first time I read it!
There is one “plot hole” that annoys me with this series. District 12 was supposed to be the coal mining region of Appalachia (so several states worth of land) yet the reaping/victory tour seems like each district is just one town…? 🤔 Are the people just condensed in one centralized area? That kind of makes sense I guess so then they would never be close to the borders of other districts to talk, but then why would 12 be at the country’s edge by the electric fence? Why not put them in the middle of the district to make it impossible for them to get out…?
