A fun, queer, Halloween read! If you like witches, angst, gay witches, and some mutual pining then I highly recommend this graphic novel. It was a fun story and I'm sorry I didn't give it a chance the first few times I came across it.
My biggest dislikes were first, while I understand Emsy's name but it felt like the nickname equivalent of Renesmee the entire read. The second was that ending felt very unfinished in a way that makes me hope there's going to be more to the story or else it's just going to be hanging forever.

Graphic: Blood, Fire/Fire injury, and Animal death
Moderate: Injury/Injury detail and Grief
Minor: Death of parent and Panic attacks/disorders
