I loved everything about this story. Most of my favourite tropes were here (friends to lovers, rekindled love, found family) and it was a beyond heartwarming story with the perfect mix of sadness and joy.

I've been meaning to dive into this book for ages but I waited until I headed to the cottage. It's the perfect book to read in the quiet morning, curled up on the dock; in the middle of the day while lounging on the beach in the sun; or in the evening, curled up in a chair by the fire.

There's still time for those of you who haven't picked this one up yet, to get it and dive into one of the best beach reads of the last few years! And to think, this is just Carley's first...I think it's time to go and grab her second!
