after seeing all the hype over this series, i finally gave in, and i was definitely underwhelmed. this was a little uneventful for my taste. i felt like rowan's character went from 0-100 from over the span of one chapter, as if there was a lot of character development that wasn't relayed well? idk, maybe the rest of the books in this series will be better?
