forgetting was not the same as healing.
we wait to be numbed by it. for the grief to become so much that we no longer feel it.
that point never arrives. our numbers reduce and the rage grows.
she touched each one of them, figuring out who the wajinru was outside of the oneness ghe remembrance brought.
that mattered. who each of them was mattered as much as who all of them were together.
maybe instead of taking the history from them she could join them as they experienced it. just like the remembrance. she could guide them through the remembering so it wouldn’t overtake them witch such violence.
they could bear it all together.
