sonagi 's review for:
The Only Child
by Mi-ae Seo
This gave me chill anyway, hence 3.5⭐
I don't want to review anymore but I just want to. The Only Child has flaws especially when it comes from Seonkyeong's criminal psychologist perspective. I disliked it since it is such a let down. She was almost like either an amateur or a normal housewife but she actually gave lectures and met the famous serial killer. Her skills didn't match up unfortunately. Just like the husband. He should have known better. And things were left hanging.
Humming songs while killing is overused but I'm not complaining because I used to watch it in crime/thriller dramas. It's chilling and uninvitingly cold. It reminds me to thriller kdramas that I've watched and loved.
I do agree kids shall not be blamed when their upbringing might shape them the worst but tbh, I don't really know the best way to react if I were the one in the story.
