Champagne & Handcuffs

Didn't finish this one...
Friends to lovers Trope. Usually not what I'd pick up as it normally involves an experienced older guy who can f# around until the one he really loves is old enough but ofc still a virgin. Yada, yada. Glad this isn't the case here. *Insert sarcasm here.
Cause it goes without saying that he is experienced and she a virgin and that he doesn't have the FREAKING decency to ask her to be in a relationship with her before deflowering her...
Plus, guess it also goes without saying that this Idiot can screw around during the years of their separation while the heroine endures horrible dates that lead nowhere. Really?? Really????
And that wasn't even the main problem I have with this book + the reason I'm not sure whether I'll finish it is the fact that I don't get why it took them FREAKING eleven years to get back together. An awful lot of miscommunication must have taken place... Or none at all? To me it seems as if Seth just hadn't fought for the supposed love of his life.
So I managed to read on after realizing that they were apart for ELEVEN YEARS!! But then I Put a stop to it when I got to know that Seth really never fought for the love of his life. Sure, he called her and texted her but not once did he see her in Person (and at that point of time he would have been capable to do so!!)
Therefore, I can't help but see the 'hero' as a bastard.
The plot itself was promising, I would have even loved to see more of Cat and her pretend Boyfriend (you go, gurl) but all in all, I can't get over the infuriating Seth.
