I loved this! This book was the epitome of “a black girl gets loved fully and well” and I loved that for Brianna. The mars simulation was such a fun concept and I love forced proximity as a trope - it really made this one work. I was worried that a book below 300 pages wouldn’t have enough development to make a good romance but honestly the pacing was tight and worked!  My only wish was that the epilogue was given a time frame

because the engagement felt a little rushed

but honestly this might just be because I didn’t realize it was the epilogue until it was over, lol. I thought this was better than Etta Easton’s debut and I can’t wait to read more from her!
