What a ride. Some loose ends are laid to rest as we angle into the final portion of this story (slated to end with Volume 12). Being so far along, there's not too much new to cover for why it's so excellent. These characters are wonderful, the story is fantastic, the setting is amazing, the art truly unique, and they still manage to leave you wanting more.
This, very simply, is a book to go back and read from the beginning. Savor every morsel, scouring each panel for little hints of Layman and Guillory's sarcastic sense of humor, and wind up enthralled in one of the best and most unique stories recently put to paper. Bon apetit.
