Adding this to my “trying to connect with my Irish ancestry” list. Was an interesting read and provided a lot of educational towards Irelands dark history, I.e. Magdalene Laundries.
My grandmother, who was born in Limerick 1936, has just passed away. She was very secretive with our family history and the “drama” that surrounded us. Obviously everything unfolds with time. This book helped filled in some gaps and contents I was missing. Will probably return to this piece in the future.
