It took me a while to get into Haven’s part of the story (especially when it started with her hair being pulled into a messy bun), but as the story went on I really had a lot of fun with this story and I loved the descriptions of Italy. Mari and Holmes’ story carried this book and I think this authors writing really shines in third person rather than first. Of course their happy ending was predictable but there would’ve been no point to the story for me if they both ended up dying and the ending was sad.
