When Mac's older sister Alina is found brutally murdered in an alley in Dublin, Mac leaves Georgia to investigate for herself especially since Interpol and the local police are marking it as a random act of violence.
Mac is in for a shock upon arriving in Ireland. She begins to see monsters, feels followed and quickly discovers that Alina wasnt the sister she knew here in Dublin; she missed classes, was dating an older man and seemed to be involved in the underground with mobsters.
To find who killed Alina, Mac teams up with Jericho Barrons and gets a training on the world of Faes.

This charming book told in First Person Point of View was a delight to read. The suspense was killing and being in Macs head was amazing. I have a feeling she and I would make great friends.
