LOVED. THIS. BOOK.
Seriously, I've been sick for the past week with a terrible head cold (so bad that it physically hurt to read) but I was so hooked on this story that I laboriously trudged through and I'm glad I did. This was such a captivating story with SUCH. STRONG. FEMALE. CHARACTERS. (S AS IN MORE THAN ONE).
In my Nyquil induced dreams, I was so enamored with this story that I was literally dreaming about the Staryk King in the dead winter forest. If that doesn't speak to Naomi Novik's skill with words, I dunno what will.
Can't wait to read Uprooted.
