I wanted to like this book but it wasn't my favorite. It seemed too drawn out and in the end, I finished it out of a sense of duty. I'd like Jojo Moyes writing style, but the characters just weren't my favorite this time around. This is the third book I've read of hers where there are two stories- a far past character and a modern-day character- that somehow tie together. It's getting a little tired.
