I've read many stories revolving around ghosts, but this one is different. The ghost, Frankie, takes a backseat as Ever meets the boy-next-door, Toby, and starts to fall for him. Now she faces the choice between the boy she always loved, but is now dead, and the boy she's starting to love and is within arms reach. Things become even more interesting the more she learns about Toby and his family.
One thing I do miss is the backstory here. Frankie is just accepted as a ghost, no questions asked. People all around Ever accept him as fact. But nothing is said about how he came to be a ghost, and he is very much a background character, which makes it difficult to truly appreciate the relationship between Ever and Frankie.
