The Wave

I read this mostly because I got a free copy through work. And... well, it's not bad? I mean, you can tell by the quality that it's not written to be a great literary work, but it does what it's supposed to? The message DOES come across in the end, though it's pretty in-your-face about it.
That said, it could easily have been better. For example, if the timeline was a little more believable — everyone went apeshit in, like, the span of a week — and more time was spent building up emotions and reactions. But that's just if you wanted a better BOOK, I guess. And I'm not sure if this is meant to be a good BOOK, per se.
So yeah. I don't regret reading it (it's pretty short) but it might just be better to watch the German show instead, which I'm pretty tempted to do now...
