Imagine a world where the internet is Virtual Reality and everyone can go online to shop, attend school and also game. The creator of the OASIS has died and created a easter egg and three keys to collect the story follows Parzival aka Wade Watts an egg hunter "Gunter" trying to decipher the clues and along side some other Gunters who he becomes friends with four other people Art3mis, Shoto, Daito and Aech.
Trying to beat people to win the challenge is Sorrento the CEO of IOI and their Sixers but they don;t play nice they will stop at nothing to get what they want and to control OASIS at all costs.
Even a second read through the book still holds up.
