Green Arrow (2016-2019) #45 by Shawna Benson, John Kalisz, Julie Benson

What a wonderful tribute to a very special character. It was an emotional read; so heartfelt and authentic. The fact that Oliver dwells on bad memories when he'd rather remember the good is an interesting look at the confusion that grief causes. This was beautifully told. I felt the art was lacking - I couldn't make out a lot of the characters. I have to question why Donna Troy got to give a eulogy to Roy, but Jason Todd wasn't there? How come? Where's Jason in all this madness? This is the problem with a shared universe, half the time the connections are crossed or missing. I wish comic book writers would remember that men have feelings too and form close bonds with each other. Green Arrow gets to mourn his friend, shouldn't Red Hood do the same?
