This was yet another brutal, sexy installment of the dark verse series. A grumpy x sunshine, marriage of convenience but make it mafia, and I ate this uppp.
Zephyr was such a strong willed woman that didn’t let present challenges stand in her way of making Alpha fall in love with her. I adored her as a character and the relationship she had with her sister, Zenith. Alpha is the typical strong headed man in charge and was so protective of Zephyr (and all women to be honest) but the way he softened his heart for her & allowed their love to bloom was beautiful.
The ending had me crying and I wasn’t expecting the plot twists thrown in. Such a wild ride that has me itching to pick up book 5 asap!
