I know I'm throwing in random 5 stars when it comes to this series, but no regrets, cause this deserves every single star. It's enjoyable in a 'I can't wait to get my hands on the next one' kind of way. The way I clicked with this series is plain bland amazing, I don't remember having this much fun reading a webtoon for a while. I want to kick myself for not picking it up earlier when I could be eating up these godly scandals all this time.

I honestly don't know what makes it so interesting. It could be the funky-fancy retellings of the original greek myths I'm so well familiar with, which felt both fresh and intriguing, or maybe it's the 'flashing a new kind of light' on each of the gods and goddesses thing. I loved that the references were so on point, however lightly wielded they were, the storyline stayed true to a lot of original facts. It just brought up the world building and perspectives differently, so this version could be all the more swoonworthy.

In most retellings, the king of the underworld is represented as an intimidating, cold, cruel, emotionally deattached, untouchable force that the shift in Hades's character here almost came as a surprise. Nothing could be better than big blue, cinnamon rolled Hades in his full adorableness. My other favs are definitely Hera, Hecate and Eros; so excited to get to know more of them! I think I'm shipping Hades and Persephone more after this.
Mind you, she lost control and set every single plant in Olympus blooming after seeing Hades in his godly form.
