Deception Peak by Dianne Lynn Gardner, D.L. Gardner

3.0

Relatively simnle fantasy YA by a new northwest author. I would have looked more developed characters. The connection with the modern world and the fantasy world tenuous at best - actually I liked the modern world better. And as a father, I found the father's actions not believable. I did like the split between the two fantasy world groups - the hunters and the dragon appeasers - but there wasn't the right level of depth to really accept either of these groups as real.
