I really enjoyed this novel overall especially because of my adoration for the character Livie. I found myself relating to her character particularly at the beginning of the book. I was not a fan of how certain things unfolded because they seemed to go against her character. I also really enjoyed learning about Ashton, the topic of Alzheimers was discussed very appropriately and I enjoyed seeing how his story played out. He had many sweet moments between him and Livie. The ending felt rushed and similar to Ten Tiny Breaths felt a bit unrealistic and convenient at certain points. Dr. Stayner was a character I appreciated a lot in the first novel but felt extremely disconnected to in this novel. Many of his lines were very cringey and despite him being depicted as unconventional this took it to the next level. Despite this, I still adored the novel. The secondary characters in this book really do shine and it was nice to also connect with characters from the previous book that I enjoyed.
