Many of the characters were annoying and unlikeable. Despite this, I found myself enjoying the book due to the love of the author’s writing and the universe in which it was taking place. While the characters were a major drawback for me, the overall plot and writing style were strong enough to carry the book and earn it a solid 3 stars out of 5.
