Nothing will prepare you for anything that Aurora writes, and I always love every minute of it. Obligation is no different I loved every second of it, but I also found it hard to keep turning the page. Some parts of the story seemed forced and some parts I feel the story got lost, but I still love it.
I think that if someone want to write an Alpha they should take some lessons from Aurora, she can write one hot alpha. With Kai she really make him strong, but soft all at the same time making him even better, making him not like any alpha male I have read. Myla is amazing, so strong and ever after living a hell she never told anyone. She is able to form a connection with Kai, even if it was written in stars or something like that. The story wasn’t what you expect, but I love how she entwined parts and people from Assumption into this story without it taking over. I also found that after reading all of Aurora books she can write family like no one else, she writes strong, loving, caring families that never give up on each other. Some makes me crave to be part of any family she writes and makes me want to read anything she writes. 4 out of 5 stars.
